Wheeeeee glass awesomeness! I have to try making one of these crazy lamps sometime. This summer, maybe, when I can commit to it without feeling like I should be working on other less time-consuming projects. The little 7" lamps don't look as demanding, and they are hella cute, although I was warned that often a smaller lamp just means smaller pieces, not necessarily fewer of them.

I also snapped up a couple of sets of brass angel wings, since they were only a couple bucks apiece, some wider foil which will work better with the ripply glass of insanity, and a whole bunch of purple globs which ought to make nice little grape-bunch suncatchers.
