Sep. 4th, 2009 11:33 amOne of Rose's eBay clothes bundles arrived today. OMFG TEH CUTE. These are all variations on burgundy/cream with the occasional dash of pink (which is what sold me on the package, really - she looks so good in red!). They're made from heavy cotton, velvet, and velour, hence good for fall and winter. Baby fashion show post to follow at some point as we start to go through them.
Corey and I did finally get a couple of evenings to sock out on the couch with TV and junk food. It was AWESOME, especially because HBO's True Blood is pretty damn cool - a funny, engaging, and original take on vampires. The attributes of said creatures are pretty standard, but the setting and characters are everything. Definitely renting the rest.
We have an appointment to meet with our first potential daycare provider tomorrow afternoon. This process still makes me nervous; I feel seriously ill-equipped to evaluate these people. Must troll the internets for question checklists.
AND electrician and plumber/gas guy are all booked for the week after thanksgiving...aka just over a month from now. Dun dun DUNNNNNNNNNNNN. Hard part: complete. Now need to book the hardwood and tile fixit guy and nail down a date for the cabinet installer guy, which will allow me to book the final plumbing/gas hookups and the venting/installation of the range hood. Which I should order, come to think of it. Up, up and awaaaayyyyyyyyy!
