Those glass-top stoves are good re: ease to clean. If I actually bought a stove myself (vs. always just using whatever is already in the place I move into) I'd probably get one.

If I was REALLY dreaming, I'd go for a double-oven with a gas range. How I miss my gas range. Someday if we scrape together enough $$$ to renovate the kitchen I will have a gas line put in to the kitchen.

The flat ceramic top is definitely as good as the electric range gets, though. And I adoooooooore the double oven thing. I could make roast chicken! And pie! At the same time!
