To Do Today:

* Home Despot - get rake, garden gloves, and snack; inquire about truck to schlep plate tamper
* Level rest of patio circle, possibly de-turf pathways
* Retrieve rest of tulip panel from studio to foil over movies

I should get groceries too, but bleahhhhhh. I am having the hardest time getting around to cooking these days. Rose is generally too grumpy by the end of the day to noodle along by herself for long enough for me to get food prepared; even the one-pot suppers in my repertoire take choppage of ingredients. Once Corey is home I have my hands free for a bit, and ditto once she goes to bed - but the last thing I want to do given an hour or two to myself is to cook.

Re: not wanting to take the trouble to cook, I recommend rice + canned lentils + chicken bullion cube + parsley or other spices, in a rice cooker. That doesn't require chopping. Doesn't even require watching, in fact. :)

Would a slow cooker work? Then you could chop earlier in the day.

what about chopping only once or twice a week and storing all the bits in tupperware? This requires more planning about what to eat which night, but lets you do cheaper more efficient shopping.
