May. 28th, 2005 09:53 amMoney has been pissing me off lately, so for the month of June I am going to declare a Frugality Challenge for myself. The object: spend as little as possible beyond groceries and bills.
Most of my money-hemmorhaging is due to food-related laziness or impulse. So the biggest steps towards the title of FruGirl will be sticking to the following:
* Cook instead of ordering in (or at least order in the $6 general tao tofu instead of the $30 indian food)
* No chocolate bars or hot dogs at work
* Make muffins on the weekend instead of going to Timmy's
If anyone feels like joining me in frugality, please feel free - if there are other people involved it will kick my butt into sticking with it!
