Jan. 13th, 2007 12:55 pmWe woke up this morning to find our back gate wide open. I'll be bugging the superintendant lady again today. ARGH.
I don't even know if it's reasonable to be so upset by this. Whoever's doing it is just going straight through - they don't vandalize or steal anything, they don't make noise, they haven't done serious damage to the garden (flattened one raspberry cane, and we'll see how the hollyhocks handle it, although that patch of them was looking a little straggly due to lack of sun anyway). I don't want to be a crazed suburbanite about it. But shouldn't a hedged yard imply that you can expect privacy? Nobody else in the building has to put up with this bullshit, we're the only ones with a yard that leads anywhere. And whoever came through this morning clearly doesn't even care if we know they've been there. It is making me CRAZY.
