May. 10th, 2007 09:41 pmStoopid soldering. My head hurts. Have to rearrange my workspace to include a window. XP
I discovered today that one needs a special Vendor's Permit to sell stuff at flea markets, exhibitions, etc., and that one must remit PST from the proceeds. Unlike the Cumberland guild, Art in the Park does not explicitly demand a vendor's permit, but they do suggest that you are responsible for all transactions "including any applicable sales tax". So I called the tax office kind of going "guh?" and came out of the conversation with a permit number. Weird. This is a lot more official than I ever planned on getting. Well, better to look weirdly official than to get booted out of the event for thumbing my nose at the tax man. Plus this way I can get out of paying PST on supplies!
Tomorrow I will finalize the design for and cut the art nouveau roses. And Saturday I need to run to Brockville to pick up the old windows I bought at the ReStore. I was going to take the opportunity to get together with Lisa, since Kemptville is right on the way, but it turns out she's working, and Corey's helping his dad with chores.
Does anyone want to come on a mini-roadtrip with me? It'd be like getting together for coffee, just in the car ;)
