Jun. 4th, 2007 10:12 pmHmmmmmm...I could spend another $100 in application fees and try to go to Urban Art, another two-day downtown outdoor art show at the end of July. I'm basically all equipped now, I just need to restock my suncatchers and make another showpiece. Considering I basically made everything for Art in the Park in three months, doing that much in another two months shouldn't be too bad. I don't know if the Serious Buyers would come out for Urban Art the way they did for Art in the Park, but then I would only need to make $100 over two long days (10-7, 10-6) to have my investment back again. Hmmmmmm!
We splurged a bit tonight and snapped up a 10x12 gazebo for $100 while buying groceries. First sunny day that comes along we will have to set this up. Also I have to take pictures of my beeeeeeautiful rhododendron and find some fungicide for the peonies, to say nothing of planting my seeds and seedlings. I think I will cover my beautiful new wrought-iron tripod with morning glories - possibly up by the tulips, I have no plans for that spot so far - and try the scarlet runner beans on the trellis, since they tolerated shade better than the morning glories last year. Or possibly I'll scout for a cheapie clematis to put on the trellis, since they like shady roots. Climbing nasturtiums can go on the same trellis as the rose went last year, I think - the willow won't be going up and out too quickly, from all indications.
I will get all this set up, mow the damn lawn, and take another round of garden pictures. Stupid rain.
