(no subject)

So I went to a meeting of the Cumberland Arts & Crafts Guild tonight! It really only involved a couple of business items, after which everyone gathered around a big table laden with scrapbooking supplies and spent the rest of the meeting messing around with said supplies to decorate little spiral notebooks. Serendipitous, since I am approaching the end of my current brain book, and kind of a ridiculous amount of fun. Apparently they're trying to incorporate similar such hands-on activities into each meeting. I can certainly get behind that.

So I went ahead and signed up for both a membership and their christmas show, since that's an ambition of mine, although I will have to have my stuff juried when meetings resume in September. Meanwhile I think I will do the UrbanArt show in July. Why not? Haven't accomplished much in terms of stocking up in the past couple weeks, but realistically I think I need a deadline in order to get anything done.
