Sep. 6th, 2007 09:47 pmCorey met me downtown after work so we could have yummy thai dinner and pop by to see Keith's vernissage (I love that word) at the Ottawa School of Art. Keith makes beautiful wooden jewelry - if you haven't already, check out his stuff here - and he was one of three non-OSA-teacher artisans selected for the OSA's craft exhibit. I am totally launching a campaign to bug him into selling at Art in the Park next year.
While at the OSA I discovered that there is still space in the next figure-drawing class taught by the same instructor we had, so we're considering signing up again. It's kind of a lot of money, but the last class was so helpful I'm tempted to just bite the bullet and let the student loan moulder on for $300 longer. Must think about it.
In other news, the doctor tells me that my lead levels are well within normal tolerances - I'm at 2.08 mcg/dL, and they start to be concerned at 10 mcg/dL - and in fact, according to the internets, my levels are only slightly higher than those of the average american who hasn't had unusual exposure (1.6 mcg/dL). Eeeeeexcellent.
