(no subject)

Day of domestic crap today. I meant to get much of said crap done yesterday, but instead I spent the whole day re-reading Miles Vorkosigan books.

* pester Compensation again, this time in writing, and find out what the hell is going on with my pay and record of employment, neither of which I have received yet :P - aha, pay has arrived in the mail: originally sent to my previous address. This probably means RoE will follow with similar delay. Eejits. How many times/with how many people do I have to change my address at work, exactly, before it sticks?
* make stew before meat goes bad - for the record, this is a pretty damn good recipe
* tidy up project room, which is still in minor disarray due to Christmas and the cats getting into the wool closet; tidy up kitchen; tidy up paper-accumulating surfaces
* laundry
* when the Brute Squad, aka Corey, is home from work, get him to help me move mattress out of baby's room and move dresser from project room to 4th bedroom
