Jun. 2nd, 2009 04:04 pmThe Zoodle is asleep, I've finished my book, and I've visited all my usual haunts on the intarwebs. Am addressing my fidgety at-loose-ends-ness by posting.
We went to the library yesterday and I snapped up a whole assortment of old favourite Dr. Seuss stories to read to Rose. Hard to tell yet what she thinks of them - although Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You? definitely had her attention with all the weird noises involved - but I'm sure enjoying myself. I'd forgotten just how ingenious and spooky The Lorax is. I need to find winter armwear worthy of being called "gruvvulous gloves". Also, to say that someone speaks "with his teeth sounding gray" is the most evocative turn of phrase I've heard in ages.
