She's been learning animal noises. She can tell you that a cow says "mmmooooo" and a snake says "ssssss" and a lion says "rahhhhhr". She can't quite articulate "buzzzzzzz", but if you say "buzzzzzzz", she will say "bee".
I pulled up a David Attenborough nature documentary about lions on youtube this evening because I figured she'd enjoy it. And as the lions went trotting across the screen, she reached out and said "rahhhhr!"
She will also come out with "mmmooooo" upon seeing her copy of "Mr. Brown can moo, can you?" or the cows in her big animal book.
She has a counting book that she particularly enjoys, and for a while now, when paging through it she's been saying "one, two, one, two" over and over again. I guess she hasn't quite mastered "three" yet. I asked her today if she wanted to look at her counting book - it wasn't in sight at the time - and she replied "one, two!"
Also, this week she is suddenly cruising (walking while holding onto furniture) all around the living room and around her crib. Must make with the babyproofing!
