(no subject)

My mom took the Zoodle to play with her friend's grandson today, so given the day to ourselves, Corey and I went out for breakfast and then rocked the spring cleaning. Romantic, I know, but MAN a clean/semi-organized house is nice. Still need to bolt bookcases to the wall in the project room, finally install the damn light fixtures that have been sitting in boxes for a year, find somewhere for the wall-mount bookcase that used to live in the kitchen, finish blocking my sweater so I can put the pins away in the 4th bedroom, hang up the swanky mirror Corey's sister gave us, and schlep some stuff to the studio. With all that done, the last two bedrooms should be more or less babyproof. And then we'll have to tackle the basement...ugh, there's a depressing prospect. Oh, and paint the dining room and finish all the picky little baseboard fixes.

Fortunately, this playdate of mom's is looking like it may turn into a semi-regular thing, so we may have a shot at actually accomplishing all of that. FTW!!!
