sexy_romulanFinished the lily mirror tonight! W00t! Here's hoping I can keep up this pace for a few days and get a nice pile of stuff done. Quite pleased with how it turned out, especially since I was a little ambivalent about this design for a long time. The wiggly bits around the border worked out particularly nicely, very delicate looking but surprisingly strong. I may try something similar without the floral accent, actually. Certainly didn't take very long to put together. Neither did the floral accent itself, come to think of it...must come up with some similarly straightforward suncatchers, I could probably manage three in a night!
Pictures to follow, because I think I should probably put patina on it...it's nice with the silver, but I'm thinking the wire stamens should show up better than they do. Also one of our kitties is a pee machine AGAIN, so I am in mad laundry mode and we are camping out in the second bedroom for the night. Sigh.
