Flute choir tonight - yay! I managed to get through it without my face falling off, despite my slackerness on the music front over the summer. Aaaaand I have a solo! A beautiful solo in a sweet, wistful sort of piece called "The Rose Garden". Must practice lots so as to do justice to it. The piece itself is not particularly difficult, but I've always found performing solo hard - being exposed like that makes me nervous.

Good progress on the glass front - cut out candleholders tonight and ground lots of stuff. Tomorrow I shop, fuse, finish cutting, grind some more, and foil. For now, though: book, nachos, and strongbow.
