sexy_romulanThe amazing Miz Rose, currently snoozing, is four months old today. How's that for surreal.
Today I will endeavour to do all the out-of-the-house running around I failed to do yesterday. Somewhere in there hopefully we can also go for a walk, especially if I manage to get my hands on a proper raincoat.
Tonight, once the Zoodle is in bed, I will head to the studio, where I will solder the tulip panel and drop off all the junk window frames I've been collecting from the curb. I have seven matching smallish ones, which is awesome because I can make sets to hang together, and one big four-pane one. The big one is in fact being re-recycled, because the gentleman whose driveway I got it from got it from someone ELSE's driveway - all he wanted from it was one pane of glass. One of these weekends I will have to set myself up with some paint stripper and an orbital sander and start getting these (and the others in my collection) in shape to use. And I WILL use them this winter, otherwise Corey will laugh at my packrat tendencies.
My evil plan for Art in the Park next year is to start working on stuff as soon as the garden season is over for 2009 - say, late October. That way the garden won't devolve into a jungle next spring while I put all my project time into frantic last-minute glass.
