Odds and ends
Jan. 23rd, 2007 05:58 pmSo apparently I have secret clearance now - woohoo! Ph33r me, administrative world!
Tomorrow means it will the last...freaking...week...of January. Bleah. Took long enough. And February is not looking very promising either, what with having to haul my butt to a french course every weekend.
Booked our Labour Day weekend Stratford trip the other day, since financial prospects are looking sort of semi-decent. We actually managed to book our honeymoon B&B again, too, since we're not making plans at the last minute. I look forward to someday when we can go for a full week every year.
Found some interesting patterns for quilt blocks online, which I'm thinking will make nice suncatchers and mirror borders. Possibly good for lead, too, since they're all straight and relatively uncomplicated lines. I'll start fishing for colours in my box once I finish grinding the freaking peonies.
No footprints through the yard since Friday night, except for what I think must have been the super's little dog. Or possibly the big fat black squirrel that lives in the trees around the yard. Unfortunately the lull leaves me waiting for the other shoe to drop - left alone in the house, I jump at every little noise.
