Jul. 13th, 2007 09:38 pmCorey stopped for food at the local pizza parlour on the way home from our walk/jog tonight. In the same building is an artists' studio. I went to take a closer look at some of the art in the windows and found a little card with a number to call to inquire about studio space. Hmmmmmm! I think I will have to give them a ring - depending on price and availability, that could solve a bit of a space crisis.
Not that I'm having much luck with it at the moment. Grrr. I can't figure out if the colours are working on the dancer or not, and I'm reluctant to go to all the labour of grinding and foiling with the risk it might turn out like crap. And I really have to get cracking here, UrbanArt is next weekend.
I think this weekend I'll grind at least the body of it - it shouldn't take that long, everything's cut pretty close, and sometimes having everything fitting properly makes a difference - and before foiling I will throw it on the light table, take some pictures, and consult teh lovely internets.
