Sep. 3rd, 2009 08:12 amWhen I described our baby sleep issues to my sister-in-law in Montreal, she forwarded me a PDF copy of a book called "The Sleep Sense Program". From this I learned that babies Rose's age should be going to bed between 6 and 7 PM, which is an hour earlier than where our routine had settled. So we decided to try putting her to bed an hour earlier, and designated Corey to do the controlled crying routine when she woke up in the middle of the night (since she knows perfectly well she doesn't get milk from him).
So for the last two nights she's gone to bed at 6:30...and slept all night. No further sleep training necessary.
NO WAY is it that easy. We'll see...
