sexy_romulanAwesome glass productivity tonight! Cut out another mirror, which while fairly straightforward should be very pretty, and am taking a vegetation break prior to grinding. This definitely goes faster than it used to.
Digging through patterns I also found some prior brainstorming for a lovely and complex fuschia design which shouldn't actually be that difficult to put together, especially if I make it freeform like the grapes...although that might just end up involving a lot of stupid tinning. I'll have to think about it. I also have brown glass to make that barnswallow now, although I'm not entirely happy with the pattern...to be that complex it has to be pretty big, and I'm not sure if anybody's interested in a giant swallow, really. I suppose I could have a big detailed one and a couple of little ones that are less complicated.
Corey will be returning from art class tonight with a box of gloves - such that I can patina a couple of things without stinking up my hands - and some McDonald's. Mmmmm. I know that place is the work of satan, but the craving has struck - I neeeeeeeed chicken mcnuggets. And I'm downloading some episodes of BSG to go with them.
