First goal for Saturday is met: I am not too hung over. Yay!
One of many reasons I love having a garden: rainy days are now AWESOME because they make everything grow. The peonies are going crazy in their new home with shoots up everywhere, and to my delight the ferns are coming back - they're not actually up yet, but you can see the nubbly green beginnings of fiddleheads just barely out of the dirt. Raspberries are almost all leafing out despite their ill treatment this winter, the rhubarb is back and looking healthy despite whatever was going on with it last year, and the daylilies of insanity are of course doing their thing. The tulips are getting eaten - probably by squirrels, evil little garden rats that they are - but the bulbs are still there, anyway, so I cross my fingers for flowers.
My mom pointed me towards a sale at Zellers whereby I might be able to snap up some coat racks for cheap upon which to hang glass. This would be awesome, since they would probably be a lot sturdier than trying to hang stuff off the tent itself. So as soon as Corey's lazy butt is dressed and the kitties are fed we will be off on a Timmy's/cat food/Zellers mission, and then there will be Gargoyles.

Yay for having raspberries in leaf! (Mine, therefore, are definiely dead-dead-dead. Sorry. :-\)
Sidenote: That coat-rack idea is a really good one! :-D
Enjoy your very productive day. :-)

Date: 2007-04-28 05:21 pm (UTC)I bought 5 of them, and having assembled one I think they'll work pretty well, although they're rickety enough that I will have to peg them into the ground good and tight to make them secure. I'll have to find some appropriate pegs and test this out, but I am optimistic!

Date: 2007-04-28 06:21 pm (UTC)Question: Could you also (in addition to the pegging, I mean) tie them to various table and chair legs and/or tent-poles for added support? Might work, might not, but a suggestion, none the less. :-)
And more raspberries would be appreciated. :-)
As would tea with you at some point. :-)
