Soldered 1/2 the cathedral trees tonight. Took me about 2.5h and the fumes have given me a killer headache, but DAMN this thing is looking awesome! Wish I had the equipment and knowhow to make a wooden frame for it, because that would suit the panel so beautifully, but alas, a zinc frame will have to do. If it were square I could probably figure something out of picture frame materials, but the gothic arch defeats that idea.

Urgh. Ibuprofen, laundry, snack, bed.

A wooden frame would look beautiful. None the less, the zinc will be lovely too. :-)

More a question of opening the window next time I pick up the soldering iron ;) but yeah, fresh air is good, especially when it's so gorgeous out!!
