First off, I'm $20 short of $200 for the Hustle for Habitat this Saturday - this plus the contribution Corey & I plan to make is enough to buy a window. How's that for awesome? And it's not too late to make a pledge!!
I am in an incredibly good mood today, for no reason I can really put my finger on. Not even the evidence of an attempted idiot incursion into our yard has brought me down (although it helps that said evidence suggests they were not successful). My boss is bringing me Jerusalem Artichoke from his garden, provided he remembers, which is GREAT because this stuff will apparently grow tall just about anywhere and needs a trellis to climb on...and hmmmm, I could use an excuse for a trellis in a couple of places! It's gorgeous out, all my plants are growing, I have lots of glass to do, I kind of like my job, and it's Friday tomorrow. Life is good.
Anyway, I need to haul out my flute so I will have practised at least one day in the last week, and then I need to work on a white pine silhouette and a peacock feather. Also design for the ivy mirror. And solder the octagon mirror.
Up, up, and awaaayyyyyyyy!

Date: 2007-05-05 02:10 am (UTC)When did you have in mind? :-)
Also: Yes, Jerichokes/sunchokes are madly agressive (along with every other plant - hurrah!) It's an Ontario native, if I recall correctly, too. :-) This is why you dig up bits of them periodically and eat the roots. :-)
- Toodly. :-)
- Me. :-)
