To do today:
*buy lead, hanging chain, and foil at the glass store
* while at the glass store, ask whether gluing felt to a mirror will wreck the backing
* if I end up at the downtown glass store, pick up Art in the Park postcards with which to spam my neighbours
*stop by Wal-Mart for a rubbermaid container or two in which to haul stuff
*buy latex gloves for patinaing
*rent some stupid TV to watch while foiling
*frame everything that needs framing in lead, add hanging hardware, and patina as necessary
* add hanging hardware to everything that's missing it
*display dry run
* foil cattails over dinner with family
To do tomorrow:
* solder suncatchers
* felt and polish mirrors
* cut out daffodil mirror and quilt suncatcher
* foil cattails and suncatchers over stupid TV
* solder cattails
Phew. ONE MORE WEEK. I'm torn between "I'm so excited I can hardly wait" and "I'm so nervous I can hardly breathe". My display will be pretty jam-packed, at least, so that assuages somewhat my worry about not having enough stuff - it may not sound like a ton of stuff, but display requirements for glass are such that I may even have more than I can cram into my 10x10 space.
Almost 9 AM - everything will be opening soon, so I should haul my butt into the shower and get rolling!! Pictures of display dry run may follow.

Side note: Keep breathing. :-) My friend, Shelley, always says "Remember to breath out. The breathing in takes care of itself." :-)
