sexy_romulanWeek of insane doom is finally over, THANK GOD. Time to celebrate with wine, book, and pasta.
So I went to Spins & Needles on Thursday night after shopping with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
nestea_addict, despite my exhaustion, basically because I said I would. I didn't know anybody there, but I bought myself a vodka & cran, grabbed some collage materials, and messed around quite happily with these for a couple of hours. The end result is...um...difficult to describe. "Lots and lots of eyes spewing out of a birdcage" is accurate, but probably not exactly easy to picture. Well, I had fun making it, and Corey seems unreasonably entertained by it, so I guess it was a success.
The next one is on a Friday (yay!) in October - the 19th. Everyone should come this time! You will love it!
I am sooooooooooo close to done the lamp, but need a second pair of hands (or some electrical tape) in order to attach the border, so I'm going to wait until tomorrow when Corey will be home from Montreal. I hope to God I got the lamp cap on straight, or the thing will forever hang crooked. In any case, pictures to follow this weekend!!
