Well, that went reasonably. Two penrose tiling suncatchers cut out and part of a leaf box (discovered that I no longer have the pattern for the moon box - to remake tomorrow at lunch). Stupidly forgot the candleholder pattern at home. Soldered the christmas tree but was overzealous about it and ended up with a fucking heat crack - a teeny tiny barely visible one, but nonetheless it's there. Dammit. Note to self: LEAVE THE CENTRE SEAM ROUGH at first next time and let it cool down before messing with it!!!
Anybody interested in a very slightly flawed free christmas/yule decoration?
So, added to my to do list tomorrow:
* finish cutting out leaf box (bring scissors to cut pattern)
* cut out candleholders (I thought I had gluchip but turns out not...I will use that beautiful blue-purple crinkly art glass instead with a clear border)
* grinding as before
Shopping list for the weekend:
* green streaky glass to redo the damn tree
* 1/2 square foot of each white and dark blue wispy for the moon box
* gluchip
* bevels: little diamonds, big diamonds, medium gluchip squares
* jewels
* beads for trees
