Augh. AUGH. Why do all the stressful elements of my life always peak at the exact same freaking time???
Well, at least the craft guild meeting tonight was good. As it turns out, their credit card service is not only for their shows, but is a year-round privilege of membership (provided you keep up a certain level of participation). Soooooo if I go to Art in the Park etc. next year, I can take credit cards - kick ass! For a $30 membership fee, a commitment of a couple hours per month at meetings, and extremely reasonable transaction charges, that is a pretty fantastic deal, considering the bank wanted to charge me $200 to use much more limited service for just one event.
THIS WEEK
Thursday:Design trefoil candleholders at lunch; cut out and grind candleholder bottoms; cut out and grind Isis pieces; cut out and grind trefoil suncatcher; cut out and grind trefoil candleholders; cut out and grind another tree; cut out and grind a couple of penrose stars; scrape and paint kiln shelf
Friday: Any remaining grinding, followed by SPINS AND NEEDLES, w00t! Where I will do much foiling with drinks.
Saturday: Continue to foil with Big Hospital; finish soldering all candleholders; solder trefoil and new candleholders; cut out and grind gothic arch mirror; paint Isis pieces; bake some fused ornaments
Sunday: Continue to cut, grind, and foil; bake Isis pieces in the morning and paint again in the afternoon
Oh, and must also deal with competition insanity this weekend. I say again: AUGH.
NEXT WEEK (Oct 22 - 28)
Finish Isis and Gothic Arch Mirror
Another tree
2 fused ornaments
Buy show lighting @ Ikea
Apply for competition of insanity
Buy beads for tree decoration and affix
Painted suncatchers
FOLLOWING WEEK (Oct 29 - show)
Depending on the state of things, I may take a couple days off to catch up...
Get display together
Polish everything
2 fused ornaments
Add ribbon trim to ornaments
