sexy_romulanThe Zoodle's latest discovery: her thumb. Apparently it now stays where she wants it to, namely in her mouth. This innovation resulted in an unexpected 2h nap yesterday while hanging out with me in the backyard, and has also led to such unprecedented things as her barely making a peep in 12h last night - when she woke up 20 minutes after I put her to bed, she gave a squawk or two and then found her thumb and went right back to sleep; this morning when Corey went in to check on her at 9AM, she was drowsily noodling along with the thumb in her mouth. OMG OUR BABY SHE IS BRILLIANT AND AWESOME.
And now that we have returned from driving Corey to work, she is asleep AGAIN in her carseat. This probably indicates that she's going to grow something like three sizes in the next week or two. Just as well she naps now, since my evil plan for this afternoon is to take her downtown to shop for annuals and show her off to coworkers.
